Wilma May Henderson

Wilma May Henderson, 88 of Zanesville, died at 7:05 A.M. on Sunday January 22, 2017 at The Helen Purcell Home, Zanesville. She was born February 17, 1928 in Canton, Ohio to the late William Stewart and Rhea May Shekels Fraser. Wilma was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Zanesville, PEO, and a member of Eastern Star Ladies Auxillary. She also volunteered for first and second grade reading at Welch Elementary School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by three children, Sharon J. (Rev. Larry) Rice of San Mateo, CA, Keith D. Scott Henderson of Florence, KY, and Suzette J. (Jeff J. Thomas) Henderson of Minerva Park, OH; five grandchildren, Antoinette, Christopher (Fema) Scott, Jeremy, and Jeffrey (Joann) Rice, and Fiona G.H. Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Zachery, Gianfranco, and Gabriella; a sister, Miriam Hinterleiter; a nephew, Scott (Shameem) Hinterleiter; nieces, Paula (Peter) Guiler and Elizabeth (Kyle) Udall; grand-niece, Anastasia; three grand nephews, Robin, Andrew and Avishai; and six cousins, Ann (Jack) Cadley of Ashland, Diana Daniels, Carol (Ron), Heather, Katrina, and Michael Shaneen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don J.S. Henderson, who died July 8, 2012.
