George Wesley Curtis, 67 of Belpre, Ohio died at his residence over the weekend. He was born in Mason County, WV on August 13, 1950 and was the son of the late Hoyt Cutis and Emma Holsinger McHenry. He had worked for the Schneider Construction Company for over 20 years. He loved sports, enjoyed the outdoors and coached baseball for many years. Survivors include his wife Pamela Curtis, his son, Thomas (Michelle) Curtis of Vincent, Ohio, a grandson, Conner Curtis of Vincent, Ohio, two sisters, Roberta (Ron) Coppola of Kansas City, KS, Doris (Howard) Jacobsen of Belpre, Ohio and a brother, Robert (Tonia) Moore of Belpre, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David VanMeter. Memorial Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre.
