Billie Jean Crosby

Billie Jean Crosby, 83, of Petal passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her home. Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church from 11:30 A.M. until service time at 1:30 P.M. followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mrs. Crosby was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and loved to help in the church kitchen. She was in charge of the Republican Party elections in Petal, and loved to read. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Crosby; a son-in-law, Blaine Sills; and two great-grandsons, Jacob McGee and Matthew McGee. She is survived by her loving husband, Grady “Bud” Crosby; her son, Larry (Mary) Crosby; her two daughters, Deborah Sills, and Sheryl Denise (Mike) Jenkins; four grandchildren, Ali Sills (Luke) Tucker, Amanda (J. R.) McGee, Noah Jenkins, and Samantha Jenkins; and two great-grandchildren, Brooke Crosby, Hunter Armour. The family would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Crosby’s caretakers, Briana Wiggins, Shirley Dickinson, and Justin Simmons.
