<p>Herbert Lee Wilson of Chester, Maryland, was called to eternal rest on March 20, 2024, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis Maryland. He was 77 years old. </p><p>He was born April 18, 1946, in Exmore Virginia to the late Martha Wilson and John Satchell. </p><p>He received his education from the Northampton County School System. Early in his adulthood he moved to Grasonville Maryland.&nbsp; There he worked at several restaurants in Queens Anne County.&nbsp; Later he worked in the seafood industry for over forty years, before his health began to decline. </p><p>During his younger years he sang Tenor with the Quartet group, known as New Tunes.&nbsp; He made local TV appearances and recordings with the group. </p><p>Herbert enjoyed when Pastor Sterling Harris and Reverend Mark Gantzhorn stopped by to pray and encourage the family. During one of Pastor Mark’s visits, he gave his life to Christ. </p><p>Herbert Lee aka (Lee Lee) lived a simple life, he enjoyed cutting his grass and working in the yard.&nbsp; You could always find him in his recliner watching TV or listening to Gospel music, with “Something&nbsp;About the Name of Jesus”, being his favorite song.&nbsp; When football season came, it was all about his beloved Dallas Cowboys. </p><p>Herbert Lee married Australia (Bunk) Pulley, they had over 30 years of happiness before her passing.&nbsp; He would often say, “I miss Bunk.” </p><p>Herbert leaves to cherish fond memories, four sons; Kevin Brown of Glen Burnie, MD, Terry Wilson (Fay) of Hurlock Md, Rodney Wilson of Salisbury Md, and Jeffrey Wilson (CaSandra) of Camden De, one daughter, Barbara Jean Wright (James) of Hurlock MD, his blended family; Tony Reed (Deborah), Jeffrey Griffin (Tywanda) Melissa Nute, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nine blended grandchildren, one sister, Virginia Lee, one brother, Frank Weatherly, one sister-in-law, Alfreda Pulley, one brother-in-law, Lenwood “Duck” Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. </p><p>Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Australia, four sisters, Ethel, Anna, Betty, Shirley, three brothers, Fred, Willie, William, two blended step-grandsons, Jeffrey “Jeff Jeff” and Dominique. </p>

Herbert Lee Wilson of Chester, Maryland, was called to eternal rest on March 20, 2024, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis Maryland. He was 77 years old.

He was born April 18, 1946, in Exmore Virginia to the late Martha Wilson and John Satchell.
