Susan Marie Casey, 69, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, just a week after the passing of her sister Deborah.

She leaves her brother, James Casey and his wife Kate, of Brimfield; her nieces, Keri Zawalich and husband Franny, and Kimberly Casey; and nephew, James Casey and wife Allie; along with two grandnephews and three grandnieces. Along with Deb, who passed on March 18, 2024, Susan was also predeceased by her parents, Frederick F. Casey and Jeannette T. (Aubain) Casey.

She was born in Worcester, and was raised and educated in Shrewsbury. Susan was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School, and went on to further her education in nursing. Susan was a Licensed Practical Nurse in her lengthy career, and she worked for many local nursing homes doing what she loved.

Family was most important to Susan, and she loved spending time and making memories with her beloved nieces and nephew. She was very talented with cooking, and perfected the family’s baked mac and cheese recipe!

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Casey family between 9 – 10 AM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St., Auburn, with a service to follow at 10. Burial will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, for Susan’s family.
