Byron, GA – Timothy “TJ” David McCoy, Jr., 31, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at his residence. Services celebrating his life will be held at the family residence. Please contact the family for dates, time, and location of services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the GoFundMe page that has been set up by T.J.’s family.

T.J. was born on August 3, 1992, in Gwinn, MI to his parents Timothy and Sherry (Bare) McCoy. He was an avid sports fan, specifically the Philadelphia Eagles, Florida Gators, and the Atlanta Braves. T.J. loved playing music, which he played by ear and was self-taught. When he was not playing music, he enjoyed listening to music. In addition to his hobbies, T.J. loved his cats, and his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved fiancé, Cathryn “Cat” Olive of Byron; parents: Tim and Sherry McCoy of Warner Robins; sisters: Kayla Garrett (Chris) of Warner Robins, and Tiphineigh Madore (Alex) of Macon; nephews and nieces: Christopher Garrett, Isabella Garrett, both of Warner Robins, Jacqueline Madore and Charles Madore, both of Macon.
