Charlene Ralph Gallalee passed into eternal life on March 27, 2024.

Charlene was preceded in death by her “Precious” husband, Tom, and her parents, Essie and Charlie Ralph. Charlene is survived by her daughter, Fran (Bill) Peters; granddaughter Ginger; brothers, John (Judy), Robert (Judy), and Claude (Wanda); nieces (Kim, Paula, Susan) and numerous nephews; and, her best friend, Rev. BJ Breen and his family.

Charlene was a devout Catholic, converting just prior to her marriage, and serving the parishes of SS Peter & Paul (Danville), Mother of Good Counsel, and St. Bernadette in varied stewardship roles.

Charlene worked in many different fields including engineering, interior design, and sign language interpreter, but was best known for her extensive and extremely successful real estate career spanning over four decades. Charlene enjoyed numerous hobbies throughout her life including tennis, golf, softball, bowling, playing bridge, cooking, hosting parties, traveling, reading and working on her yard.

Anyone who met Charlene immediately became her friend. With her bright, beaming smile, her kindness and positivity, and her desire to help others and make people happy, Charlene has touched so many lives.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for her devoted and loving caregivers: Verouline, Marydell, Cathy, Gwen, Keesha, Lucy, and Alice; as well as her care team from Hosparus of Louisville.

Visitation is to occur Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 4-7 pm, Highlands Funeral Home, 3341 Taylorsville Road. Funeral Mass is to be celebrated Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 10 am, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Road. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Nashville, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be sent to The Louisville Youth Choir.
