Dale Edward Perry, 78, of Clifton Hill, MO, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Dale was born May 16, 1945 in Forest Green, MO the son of Alton and Addie (Young) Perry. He married Linda Kaye Bartholomew on May 29, 1965 in Salisbury, MO.

Dale was a graduate of Glasgow High School, class of 1962. He attended Moberly Area Community College for one year. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, stationed at Fort Eustis, Virginia for three years. He worked as a journeyman Sheet metal worker for Semco for 39 years, retiring in 2003. Dale was a member of the Family Life Fellowship in Moberly, MO. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with his wife visiting all 50 states, gardening, taking great pride in his lawn, and attending the grandchildren activities. He was a handyman who never threw anything away, was able to fix anything and enjoyed working on his children’s homes.

Dale is survived by his wife Linda of the home, son Tarryn (Jamie) Perry of Clifton Hill, MO, daughters Marlesa (Michael) Maynard of Hartsburg, MO, Carmen (Steve) Combs of Harrisburg, MO, Destiny (Rob) Burkett of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren Treyton Maynard, Keegan Maynard, Cade Combs, Baylie Combs, Trace Combs, Brody Combs, Chase Perry, Dylan Perry, Korbin Perry, Brinly Burkett, Brycen Burkett, brothers & sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, father & mother-in-law, and older brothers Willis, Clyde, Earl and Ray Perry.

Visitation is Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Family Life Fellowship in Moberly, Mo, with military graveside services following at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Memorials may be made to the Thomas Hill Cemetery or Family Life Fellowship.
