<p>Born Pasty Nichols in Boles Arkansas on March 15 or 21, 1941, the only girl of four children, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 26, 4:30 p.m. Patsy was a retired paraprofessional and school bus driver in special ED at the Fort Smith Public School system. She served as Secretary/Treasurer at Abbott Baptist Church until December 2023. Patsy previously worked as Secretary at the Carpenters Union Hall in Fort Smith for many years.</p><p>Preceded in death by Mother Pauline “Goolsby” Nichols, Father Charlie Nichols, Step-Mother Mildred “Stuart” Nichols, Husband L.D. Vines, Brothers Tommy Nichols, and Shurman Nichols, Grandson Eric Stites and Great Grandson Zackary Daniel Willis.</p><p>She is survived by her children and their spouses. Jerry DeWitt and Tammy, of Mansfield, AR, Terri Linker and Edward, of Fort Smith, AR, Carla DeWitt of Moffett, OK, Cynthia Kelly and Buddy of Hodgen, OK, and Edwin Creekmore, Jr. of Van Buren, AR., Grandchildren Christina Lensing, Tracy Mosby, Brandy Darr, Brian Gattis, Robert Stites, Kimberly “Stites” Cooper, Tera Moon, Trenton Cole, Carl Don “DeWitt” Williams, and Dakota “Cody” DeWitt, And Chloe Creekmore and 18 great grandchildren. Many other family members and dear friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Pallbearers will be Jerry Dewitt, Edwin Creekmore, Carla DeWitt, Cody DeWitt, Rick Sims, Trenton Cole, Evan Cole and Breylin Wylie.</p><p><br></p><p>Honorary pallbearers will be Thurman Nichols and Butch Sims.</p><p><br></p>
