Rufus Aubren Phillips, age 91, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on March 27, 2024. He was born in West Monroe, Louisiana on May 15, 1932, son of the late Jack Phillips and the late Effie Bonnett Phillips. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his children: Charles Phillips (Pam), Susan Phillips; sisters: Dorothy Phillips, Mary Carolyn Storey; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Connie Pope Phillips, daughter: Kathleen Tracy; brothers: Harold Phillips, Jack Phillips, Sam Phillips, sister: Rebecca Phillips.

The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A graveside service to follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Mike Powers officiating.
