Victoria Rabon Coker Obituary

Victoria “Vic” Rabon Coker, 89, died Monday, March 25, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia.


Born October 7, 1934, in Lee County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Joseph Rabon and the late Vermelle Watson Rabon Hair. Ms. Coker retired from Campbell’s Soup Company. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening, lawn work, and anything else outdoors.


Survivors include a son, Jimmy A. Coker; a daughter, Mattie V. Coker; a brother, Charlie H. Rabon, Jr.; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul O. Coker; an infant daughter; a grandson, Brian O. Coker; and a brother, Cecil A. Rabon.


Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Mayesville-Black River Cemetery with Rev. Scott Eadie officiating.


The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. Noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.


Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
