Dolores DeMeglio

We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Dolores DeMeglio on March 28, 2024, at the age of 83 in Croton-on-Hudson. Born on May 23, 1940, in Manhattan, New York, Dolores grew up in the Bronx. She later moved to Yonkers and eventually settled in Mahopac. Her life was filled with love, resilience, and joy.

Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carmine DeMeglio; her cherished daughter, Lisa Giannantonio; and her dear sisters, Elizabeth Picini, Dora Vitale, Olga Manguso, and Vivian Torres. She is survived by her son, Carmine DeMeglio and his wife, Jill; her daughter, Joanne Dammacco and her husband, Frank; her son-in-law, Peter Giannantonio; her sisters, Anne Medici, Camille Vitale, Marie DeLucia, and Antoinette Acquaviva and her husband Nicholas; her grandchildren, Dana Villanova and her husband, Brian; Frank Dammacco and his wife, Michele; Gina Giannantonio, Amanda Giannantonio, Gianna DeMeglio, and Sophia DeMeglio; and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Villanova, Gia Villanova, and Frankie Dammacco.

Dolores's life was a testament to her strength and unconditional love for her family. She was a guiding light, always there with open arms and a heart full of love. Her spirit and the memories we shared will forever remain in our hearts.
