<p>Mary Polk </p><p>May 19, 1953 ~ March 28, 2024 </p><p>70 Years Old </p><p>Mary Louise Polk passed peacefully from this life on March 28th after a gradual decline in her health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family, friends, and caregivers during the last days of her life. </p><p>Mary was born in Bolivar, TN to the late Missouri Woods and Louis Polk. Mary was raised by the late Jim and Sophia Newsom. She graduated from Middleton High School. Mary loved to cook, dance and spend time with her family. </p><p>Mary confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She became a member of Green Grove where she remained until God called her home. </p><p>Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Parks and to this union, one child was born. Willie and Mary later divorced and Mary later was blessed with two more daughters. </p><p>Mary was preceded in death by her birth parents; her parents that raised her; two brothers, Jack Newsom and Harry Woods. </p><p>Mary leaves to cherish her memories: her three daughters, Regina E. Parks of Jackson, TN, Kimberly A. Trailor (Johnny) of Oakland, TN, and Michelle C. Polk of Bolivar, TN; five granchildren, Jamarius Williams, Maquez Hendrix, Quindarius Hendrix, Kimora Trailor, and Ke'Maia Trailor; one great grand-daughter, Jenesys Williams; one sister, Dorothy Polk of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Lorenza Woods of Memphis, TN and Willie Laird, Jr. of Memphis, TN; two special friends, Shelia Doyle and Andrea Henson and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. </p><p> </p>Obituary
