Gary D. VanPelt

Age 81 of Owosso passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Pleasant View.

Gary was born July 13, 1942, in Owosso, the son of Douglas and Geraldine (Reynolds) VanPelt.

He graduated from Owosso High School in the class of "1960" and attended the University of Michigan.

Gary served his country in the United States Air Force. He had a love for cars and dogs, especially Great Danes.

Gary worked and owned Apple Auto on Corunna Ave. for many years and as a Fireman for the Owosso Fire Department.

Gary is survived by his Brothers, Tom (Denise) VanPelt and Jack (Marva) VanPelt, along with several other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was predeceased by his Father, Douglas VanPelt; Mother, Geraldine (Reynolds) VanPelt; and Sister, Karen LaKari.
