<p>Helen Christine Reed, 59 of Salem passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 9, 1965, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Rexall and Tiny Lipscomb Harper. </p><p>Helen worked as a cook for the Salem Nursing Home for several years. She loved to cook, listen to music, do word searches, work on puzzles, and going dancing in her younger years. She also loved spending time with her family. </p><p>Helen is survived by her two sons, Timothy Reed and wife Endris, and Mark Reed, both of Salem; one granddaughter, Tristen Reed of Salem; one great grandson, Preston Doctorr; four brothers, Dave Harper of Fairmont, Harold Harper and wife Shirley, John Harper, and Bobby Harper and wife Reita, all of Salem; several nieces and nephews . </p><p>In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, James Reed; two siblings, Rick Harper and infant brother, Timothy. </p><p>Online condolences can be made at Davisfuneralhomewv.com.
