Alice M. Beaver

<p>SHELTON: Alice (Anderson) Beaver, age 100 of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Charlie Beaver, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Middlebury Convalescent Home, Middlebury. Born in Derby on November 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and B. May (Nesceda) Anderson. </p><p><br></p><p>A proud US Navy Veteran of WWII, Alice grew up in Derby and also resided in Ansonia where she went door-to-door selling Hager Frozen Foods for many years. She moved to Vermont and was the proprietor of a campground/bed and breakfast which catered to hunters and snowmobilers. Alice eventually moved to Florida to help take care of her father before returning home to Connecticut where she resided until her passing. She enjoyed baking, puzzles, and especially Mahjong.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband, Charlie, Alice was predeceased by her loving daughter, Sally Maltby. She is survived by her nieces, Christy Keefe and her husband Michael, and Janis Martin and her husband Tom, her nephew, John Jensen and his wife Patti, as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>All services will be held at the convenience of the family, and the Ralph E.
