Ellen Faye Allgaier Obituary

Ellen Faye Allgaier, daughter of William and Grace Bronaugh was born on April 26, 1949, and passed on March 9, 2024. Born with black curly hair and sparkling eyes.

Ellen was captivated by the theatre arts at a young age, she was incredibility smart and amazingly talented. During her childhood years she would direct and star in productions in our backyard complete with costumes and music. Ellen sang, danced, and acted her way through school. When learning to point in ballet she would cry because her toes would bleed and it was so painful, she never gave up and was highly accomplished in this field. In high school Ellen was on the Dance Production Team and danced in several performances. She also was a Drama major and was in many plays and musicals. After completing college Ellen was living the dream she had envisioned as a child. This is when she decided to get a part time job working the lunch hour as a waitress at the Red Room, John Allgaier was the owner.

In August of 1974 they were married, and Ellen now became a wonderful wife and homemaker for the love of her life. Valentines Day was their favorite holiday and Ellen saved every candy heart box and card John ever gave her, she has over 45 of them. After moving to Russellville Ellen continued her passion for dance and opened Russellville Dance Academy. Going to work for the University of Arkansas she then developed the curriculum for dance and taught there for many years. Ellen often took her students to New York to see the dance performances on Broadway. She loved musicals, bright lights, and the city.
