Carol R. Cunningham
<p>Carol R. Cunningham, 87, formerly of West Lawn, passed away on March 20, 2024, in the care of T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center in Dallas, TX. She was the widow of Joseph C. Cunningham, who passed away on December 16, 2014.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Ruth A. (Snyder) Haughney. Carol graduated from Sinking Spring High School in 1954. She remained in contact with her classmates, meeting monthly for lunch. For over 30 years she worked for the Wilson School District as a bus driver until her retirement in 1998.</p><p><br></p><p>Carol was active in her community serving as the secretary of the Sinking Spring Alumni Association and an Associate of the Precious Blood Covenant. She leaves behind many friends: her tennis girls, LARKS, Phoebe friends and bible study group. She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Carol is survived by her children: Mary Jo, wife of William Reynolds, Gautier, MS; Francis, wife of Derek Boland, Port Orange, FL; Deborah, wife of Mac Duvall, Dallas, TX; and Ann Cunningham, and partner Ron Klemm, Fairbanks, AK; grandchildren: Michael, William, Samantha, Jamaica, Zachary, Adrianne, and Evan; and three great-grandchildren: Casey, Drew, and Jenay; one great-great grandson Levani.</p><p><br></p><p>She was predeceased by brothers James and John Haughney.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial donations may be made to St. Ignatius Memorial Fund at 2810 St Albans Drive, Reading, PA 19608 or to Sisters of the Precious Blood, 1094 Welsh Rd, Reading, PA 19607.</p><p><br></p><p>A Committal Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605.</p><p><br></p><p>Edward J.
