<p><p>Donna Hall, age 70 of Northfield, passed away at home, with her family by her side, on Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna Mae (Sticha) Hall was born July 14, 1953, in New Prague, Minnesota, to Frank J. and Rose M. (Tupy) Sticha. She was raised on the family farm at St. Patrick, attended St. Wenceslaus Parochial School and graduated from New Prague High School in 1971. During her high school years Donna began working as a legal secretary and continued her education to become a Paralegal where she worked for O’Neill , Traxler, Goggins, and Zard for 20 years.</p><p><br></p><p>On June 3, 1978, Donna married Gary Richard Hall at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. After marriage they made their home between New Prague and Northfield, eventually moving to Northfield in 1999. Together they started growing their family and raising two sons. Family was always the most important thing to Donna as she loved caring for her sons and Gary and nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Donna was a longtime active member of the Church of St. Dominic. She served several terms on the Parish Council, was a Eucharist Minister, Mass Coordinator, Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Faith Formation Board. In 1993, Donna began working for Northfield Public Schools as an administrative secretary. She loved her role at school and took joy in every moment she got to spend with the students and staff, creating many friendships. Donna remained with the Northfield District until she retired in 2017.</p><p><br></p><p>After retirement her new full-time job was “Gramma Time” . Her grandchildren brought her such joy and fun and she was so proud to be their grandma. She loved their dance performances, chalk drawings, going for school lunches, and kisses. She also enjoyed time at the cabin on Lake Winnibigoshish watching the sun rise, fishing with Gary, flower gardening and coffee with her many friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her husband of 45 years Gary; her sons Joshua (Erin) of Faribault, and Timothy, her grandchildren Madelyn Jo, Quinn MaeLynn, Clara Jo and Christopher John; her siblings Mary Jean Sirek of Lonsdale, Fritz (Ruth) Sticha, of New Prague, Diane (Jeff) Thompson of Woodbury, Colleen (David) Hunt of Woodbury, Kathy Sticha (Jim Cody) of New Prague, Nancy Sticha (Mike Van Dorn) of Hutchinson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by brother Bill Sticha and her parents.</p><p><br></p><p>Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Church of St. Dominic in Northfield. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM - 7:00PM on Wednesday evening, April 3rd, at the Bierman, Benson &amp; Langehough Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the church on Thursday beginning at 10:00AM. Donna Hall, age 70 of Northfield, passed away at home, with her family by her side, on Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024.
