Margie Louise (nee Toerner) Kruse formally of Hebron, Ky, beloved wife of the late Tim Kruse, Sr. Born on March 24, 1942, the eldest child to the late Louis and Margie Toerner. Devoted mother of Tim (Ann) Kruse, Jr., Kevin (Kendra) Kruse M.D., Brian (Stephanie) Kruse, and Shaun (Amy Godiwalla) Kruse. She is the grandmother of nine amazing grandchildren, Megan, Molly, Christy, Caroline, Catherine, Andrew John, Samantha, Landon, Armin and two beautiful great grandchildren, Ellie, and Atticus. Dear sister of Robert (Bob) Toerner, Rose Marie Orzali, Denise Kersting, the late Jack Toerner, and the late Lisa White. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margie passed away in Covington, Kentucky on March 16, 2024, at the age of 81.

She loved flowers and gardens since she was a little girl. She also enjoyed art, especially painting in watercolor. Margie graduated from LaSalette Academy and completed college after having her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be on April 13, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, Ky 41017. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Catholic Mass. Celebration of Margie’s life will take place in the undercroft after Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Notre Dame Academy, Class of 1971 Scholarship Fund, 1699 Hilton Drive, Park Hills, Ky 41011. Margie asks all of us to “Remember Kindness” in every facet of our lives.
