Raymond A. Cote Jr., 68, of North East Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24th, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 18th,1956, he was the son of the late Raymond A. Cote Sr. and Patricia (Clayton) Cote.


Ray was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church in North East Maryland, a veteran of the United States Air Force Squadron 3706, Flight 062, and he had worked as a lineman for Delmarva Power for over 20 years, retiring in 2015. Ray was known for his contagious laugh and bright smile, always looked at as a great leader and the hardest of workers. Ray was a family man and was recently battling stage four lung cancer.


Raymond is survived by his beloved partner, Tyonia Barber-Hodge and his three beautiful children: Colleen Hudler (Neal), Charlotte Bogus (Michael) and Stephen Cote (Mackenzie). A proud grandfather, he loved his four grandchildren: Brandon, Ava, Lilly and Liberty. Raymond is also survived by his dearest sisters: Linda Turner, Cheryl Cote, Denise Ricks (Charles), Pamela Wagner (Al) and Elaine Peddycord (David).


Relatives and friends are invited to a time of reflection and visitation on Friday, April 5th from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm at Harkins Funeral Home 600 Main Street Delta, PA 17314. Memorial contributions in Raymond’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at: www.woundedwarriorproject.org
