Virginia J. Zyra (nee Cwiklinski), age 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at her home.

Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, to John and Alice Cwiklinski, she resided in Bayonne and East Orange before moving to Clark in 1968. Mrs. Zyra worked on the assembly line with wiring and soldering for the Western Electric Co. of Kearny and Clark.

Mrs. Zyra is survived by her four sons: Edward, Joseph (Therese), Gary (Ellen), and John; and one daughter, Deborah (Keith) Edick; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Zyra (1994) and her siblings: brother John, twin brother Edward, and sisters Jane, Mary, Loretta and Estelle.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Monday April 1, 2024, from 4-7 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 8:45 am on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am, St. John the Apostle, R.C. Church, Linden. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
