<p>Montezuma, GA – James Michael McGlamry, 34, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The Service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel and Crematory. The visitation for family and friends will be held an hour prior. Reverend Jay Lauritsen will be officiating. </p><p><br></p><p>Michael was born on November 17, 1989, in Hawkinsville, GA to the late James Scott McGlamry and Mrs. Delcie Jeanette (Kyzar) Wheeler. He had a heart of gold and would helped anyone in need. He was such a hard worker and always put 100% into everything he did. As a child, Michael was very athletic. He loved Baseball, Basketball, Football, and gymnastics. His freshman year of High School, Michael was on the Warner Robins High School State Championship Football Team. His favorite sport, however, was Martial Arts especially with his mom, Delcie. In his older years, Michael enjoyed being outdoors and hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers at his grandparents’ house. He was also a big kid at heart. He loved all types of movies and playing video games. His greatest joy, however, was his family whom he loved endlessly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Jessica Nichole McGlamry; step-sons: Kaden Benjamin Anderson and Brant Drinnon of Cordele, GA; mother: Delcie Jeanette (Kyzar) Wheeler; sister: Emily McGlamry of Warner Robins, GA; paternal grandparents: Kenneth and Betty McGlamry of Pitts, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel &amp; Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.</p><p><br></p>
