Lois Wells
<p>Lois Ann Wells entered this world on January 30, 1951, in Sitka Alaska. Lois grew up in Sitka Alaska, Coeur d’Alene Idaho, and California. She departed this world to be with her parents, grandson, and oldest daughter on Saturday March 23, 2024, in Alamogordo, NM. She will be greatly missed by her children, sisters, brother, and a great many friends. </p><p>Lois was a mother of 4 children and a grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Lois was an RN and worked as a School Nurse at NMSBVI, a psych nurse at Mesilla Valley Hospital, as well as a traveling, nurse. Lois loved her grandchildren, she loved music, as well as leading music at church. Lois also loved owls and puzzles. Lois lived in a great many places being a military spouse. She lived in Tacoma Washington, North Dakota, Germany, Dayton Ohio, and Holloman AFB. </p><p>Lois was proceeded in death by her mother, Jeanette Brookman, her father Gordon Wells, her sister Joan Crawford, Her grandson, Dominic Austin Martinez, and her daughter, Melissa Lynn McGavran. </p><p>Lois is survived by her sisters Sandy Milligan, Kathy Ogburn, and her brother, Donnie Wells, her ex-husband and the father of their children Ray McGavran, her sons Aaron McGavran, Jason McGavran, and her daughter Lucie Simone. Lois is also survived by her grandchildren Tara, Elliot, Angel, Nicole, Sarah, Joshua, Hannah, and Daniel. Lois is also survived by several great grandchildren </p><p>Memorial services for Lois Wells will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alamogordo, NM on April 5 at 6 PM </p><p>The Wells family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home, Inc.<br> </p>Obituary
