Kevin Lee Wade, age 51, of Alto, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Born on November 25, 1972, in Demorest, he was a son of Brenda Ramey Wade of Alto and the late T. Lee Wade. Mr. Wade worked in construction, was a master carpenter, and known as a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed helping others and would stop at nothing to do so. Kevin was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Cynthia Wade and Autumn Wade; grandson, Lincoln Burgess; brother, Jason Wade; and sister, Kim Wade.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 33 years, Amanda Ledford Wade of Alto; sons, Kirby Wade (Hannah Brown) of Alto and Brantley Wade of Alto; daughter, Jessica Burgess of Alto; grandchildren: Destiny Wade, Hunter Wade, Charlie Wade, Easton Thacker, and Hudson Burgess; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca Mooney (Timothy) of Alto; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the funeral home.
