<p>Robert Wayne Redmon, 82 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024 at Horizon Health Hospital in Paris. He was maintenance supervisor for District 95 for several years.</p><p><br></p><p>Bob was born December 3, 1941 in Paris, Illinois, the son of the late Francis and Mary (Cline) Redmon. He married Charlotte Scott April 8, 1964 in Paris; she passed away April 9, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include four children, Kathy (Tony) Rhoads of Paris, Mike (Paula) Kemper of Paris, Rob (Paula) Redmon of Libertyville, Indiana, and Brad (Becky) Redmon of Paris,; grandchildren, Jared Kemper of Sacramento, California, Brian (Kacie) Rhoads of Casey, Justin (Shelbi) Rhoads of Paris, Aaron Rhoads of South Hill, Virginia, Courtney (John) Marshall of Paris, Brittney (Lance DeWeese) Kemper of Paris, Mariah (Zac Davidson) Kemper of Paris, Austin (Taylor) Redmon of Paris, Dylan Redmon of Paris, Josh (Nichole) Huffman of Martinsville, and Austin Huxford of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nineteen great grandchildren; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son Arnie Kemper; three sisters, Roberta, Elsie, and Betty; and three brothers, Francis, Roger, and Rodney.</p><p><br></p><p>Bob was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church; American Legion Post 104; Prairie Lodge #77 Ancient Free &amp; Accepted Masons; and AASR Valley of Danville. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who enjoyed giving his time and talents helping others. Bob was a talented craftsman and was an Illini basketball fan.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials be made to Sugar Grove United Methodist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Services celebrating his life were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Templeton Funeral Home. The Reverend Bill Duke officiated, and burial followed in New Providence Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 211. Casket bearers were Josh Huffman, Austin and Dylan Redmon, and Aaron, Brian, and Justin Rhoads. Honorary casket bearers were Austin Huxford and Jeri Lientz.
