Jennifer Marie Atkinson Cruz, 33, wife of Celestino Cruz Martinez, died Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born August 9, 1990, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Veronica Atkinson.

Survivors in addition to her husband include seven children, Jeyla, Eternity, Miguel, Noah, Isaac, Gabriel, and Baby Girl; two brothers, Lonnie Hassler (Charlotte), and Tyler Atkinson; one sister, Ashley Atkinson; and several other aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Church of the Nazarene officiated by the Rev. Arthur Sharpe.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
