<p>Naomi Wilson-Crabill Hoover, 103, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, Virginia.</p><p>She was born August 8, 1920 in Rio, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert B. Wilson and Gertrude Crites Wilson. She trained and worked as a pediatric nurse at Winchester Memorial Hospital and then served as a school nurse in the Frederick County Schools. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church for over 80 years, serving as a Sunday school teacher in the children’s department and leading as a deacon. She was a charter member of the Singin’ Seniors choir and a beloved member of the Philia Sunday school class.</p><p>She married Granville Crabill who preceded her in death and then Harry D. H. Denis Hoover who preceded her in death.</p><p>She is survived by three children: Thomas W. Crabill and spouse Henri of The Villages, FL, Carol L. Behn of Winchester, VA, and David J. Crabill III, and spouse Jan of Nampa, ID, and a daughter-in-law Toni Crabill of Winchester. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.</p><p>Along with her first husband Granville Crabill, and second husband Harry Denis Hoover, she is preceded in death by a son Daniel A. Crabill, and five siblings: Emory Wilson, Earl Wilson, Vincent Wilson, Mary Weber and Virginia Evans.</p><p>The family will receive friends Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 am, March 29, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Winchester, with The Rev. Dr. Kristin Adkins Whitesides officiating. </p><p>Burial will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park at 2:00 pm.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Naomi Hoover to First Baptist Church, Winchester or Blue Ridge Hospice.</p><p>Online condolences may be left at www.jonesfueralhomes.com</p>
