Moore, Judith Lorraine (Vandervelde), age 83, of Novi, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Medilodge of Clare.

Per Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Judy may consider the Humane Animal Treatment Society (H.A.T.S). Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.

Judy was born August 24, 1940, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of the late Louis and Marjorie (Slaughter) Vandervelde. She married the love of her life, Frederick Moore, on April 27, 1963. Judy owned and operated her own salon, "Hair We Are" in Northville, MI. She was a member of the Michigan Association of Beauty Professionals and the Michigan Business and Professional Women. Judy loved to sew and often competed in the Goodfellows Doll Dressing Contest.

Judy is survived by her children, Penny (John Loubert) Lew of Mt. Pleasant, Andrew (Sheri) Moore of Pinckney, MI; grandchildren, Mandy (Matt) West, Alegra Platte, Alexander Moore, Ellen Loubert, Carlos Platte; great-grandchild, Matthew West; sister, Bonnie Clark; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 61 years, Frederick Moore; grandchild, Eric Loubert; sisters, Sandra Moore and Lucinda Wojcik.
