<p>Thomas J. Daw Jr., age 71 of Campbell, passed away on March 24, 2024, at Corning Hospital. He was born on April 8, 1952, in Rochester, NY, the son of Thomas J. and Esther Daw.</p><p><br></p><p>Tom is survived by his children: Tracy (Chris) Austin of Campbell, Thomas J. Daw III (Cheryl) of Corning, Chad (Patricia) Speicher of Campbell and Joshua Daw (Vicky) of Florida, as well as several grandchildren and sister Susan Eccleston of Campbell. Also, very special friends, Keith and Sandy Austin, Suzy and Shane Stacy, Pam and Danny Drum.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a graduate of Campbell High School. Tom had a love for all kinds of racing from his favorite drag racing to local dirt tracks and go cart races, he was always up to go to a car show, and music was a true passion whether listening, singing, or playing the drums. He played in the bands Country Feeling and The High Performance Band which was something he took great pride in. </p><p><br></p><p>Love him or hate him, Tom always beat to his own drum. </p><p><br></p><p>He retired from Philips Lighting in Bath. He was a proud member of the Campbell American Legion SAL.</p><p><br></p><p>Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 30 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the Campbell American Legion. Those wishing to remember Tom may do so with a donation in his name to Meals on Wheels.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to thank the nursing staff at The Corning Hospital Emergency Department for their outstanding care for both Tom and his family while he was a patient.</p>
