Franklin Davis Deas passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, around 5:00 pm at South Baldwin Medical Center in Foley, AL surrounded by his entire family.


Davis was born December 20, 1941, to Gilmer and Lucille Morgan Deas. He was a lifelong resident of Coffeeville, AL and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.


Davis learned to cut hair at the early age of 14 and spent most of his life doing just that, making lifetime friends along the way.


Davis is survived by his children, Jeff Deas (Michelle) of Thomasville, AL and Chandra Deas (Darren) of Spanish Fort, AL; brother, Alton Deas (Judy); brothers-in-law, Ronal Dunagan (Janette) and Donal Dunagan (Pat) all of Grove Hill, AL; grandchildren, Devin Deas (Rebecca) of Foley, AL, Brittney Deas Alexander (Lance) of Magnolia Springs, AL, Kayne Deas (Megan) of Saraland, AL, Kayden Deas, and Kolten Deas (fiancée Danieliz Fernandez) of Spanish Fort, AL; great grandchildren, Maiya Deas of Spanish Fort, AL, Baine and Gage Deas of Foley, AL, Maci, Krislynn and Ivey Anne Deas of Saraland, AL, and Priscilla and Eli Alexander of Magnolia Springs, AL; and a niece, numerous nephews, relatives, and friends.


He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Betty Ann Deas and granddaughter, Kaylee Deas.


Visitation will be held at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville, AL Monday, April 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 noon service time. Burial will follow at Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery.
