Acquanetta "Netta" Bush, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered eternal rest on March 22, 2024. Daughter of the late Reverend Lonnie and Ada Bell Talley, Netta leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, love, kindness, and generosity. She is survived by her children, Malaika Bush-Chisholm (Angelo), Kim Bush, Bakari Bush, and Shomari Bush (Juanita). Netta was a cherished grandmother to Zaria Calo, Tarik Bush, Summer Chisholm, Nile Chisholm, Isabella Chisholm, Shiloh Bush and Serenity Bush, and great-grandmother to Nova Boland. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 10 am at Triumphant Christian Church, 2540 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Family and friends may view at 9:00 am at the church until the time of service. Internment will be held at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven, Connecticut.
