​Miss Audrey Jean Evans was born to Dorothy Lee and James Evans, February 19, 1956. She gained her wings March 21, 2024. She attended Howard High School and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a cake designer with S and W Cafeteria Works for 3 years and Lead Dispatcher of Mercury Cab for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her son, William Otto Evans; father, James Evans; mother, Dorothy Lee-Allen; brother and sister, Melvin Evans and Shirley Allen.

She is survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn (James) Love, Diane Evans, and Debra Allen of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Robert Allen, Detroit MI and Jerome Allen of Chattanooga, TN; special friend of over 40 years, Dorothy Green.

To also cherish her memories, she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; a special adopted niece, Ashley Brown and nephew Jayceon Roller. She will be missed dearly by special co-worker, Tenesica “Trecie” Fletcher, as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

A 2:00 PM memorial celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 423-622-9995.
