<p>Arnetta Elaine Walker, 59, of Duquesne, was born March 27, 1964, in Homestead, PA. &nbsp;She was the beloved daughter of the late Emory Jr. and Christine (Swayzer) Mariner, granddaughter of the late Dixie and Etta Mae (Morton) Swayzer. </p><p>Arnetta was a 1982 graduate of Steel Valley High School. She later furthered her education at Florida A&amp;M University (FAMU) studying social work. </p><p>Arnetta’s first job as a teenager was at Giant Eagle; after attending college she worked as a corrections officer for the Florida Department of Corrections in Ocala, Florida. When Arnetta moved back to Homestead, she began working with troubled youth at the Whale’s Tale and The Academy before going to work at the PA Department of Human Services at the Public Welfare Office where she was currently still employed having 23 years. </p><p>Arnetta was a loving and devoted wife for 14 years to Deacon Ronald Walker; and shared a loving relationship with him for 23 years. Arnetta had a loving nurturing relationship with the children and grandchildren as if they were her own, each one in her special way. She enjoyed gatherings and spending time with her family and friends. Arnetta was a great cook! She enjoyed making meals and sharing the love she put into them with others. Arnetta and Ronnie enjoyed traveling and making memories at family reunions. Arnetta loved to go out to different restaurants to have a good time whenever she could. She loved watching the Food Network and cooking shows. Arnetta was also a member of the NAACP. </p><p>Trustee Arnetta Walker was a very active member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Duquesne PA, where she served as a Trustee, and she was very passionate towards the youth department and mime ministry. </p><p>All of God’s children possess at least one Spiritual Gift. Sister Walker had many and used them to help so many others in so many ways. But the one that speaks to her love and compassion is the Gift of Giving. The ability to give with the Spirit of Generosity, seeking to advance God’s Kingdom by supporting ministries, missions, and the less fortunate. God used her and her devoted husband Deacon Ronald Walker in this ministry of giving. Indeed, she represents the GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING. Sister Arnetta Elaine Walker was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to be in her presence. </p><p>Farewell my love until we meet again…love your Ron </p><p>Arnetta departed this life on March 22, 2024, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her father, Emory, and mother, Christine.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Arnetta is survived by her loving spouse Ronald, married for the last 14 years; two stepsons, Ronnie G. (Deborah) Walker, Blake (Jill) Walker; two stepdaughters, Robyn (Charles) Capehart, Angelica Claire Walker; 2 grandchildren, Isaiah Walker and Gianna Capehart, sister, Lynette Mariner (Ben); two brothers, Kevin (DeDeShia) Mariner, Jeffery (Aisha) Mariner; brother-in-law, Roy (Josie) Walker; sister-in-law, Gloria Wiggs; Aunt Elaine (Swayzer) Tucker &nbsp;17 nieces and nephews, 5 great-nieces, and nephews, numerous cousins and extended family, and friends. </p>
