Virginia Carver Nettles, a resident of St. Francisville, died on Saturday, March 23, 2024. She was 78 years old and was retired from Stone and Webster/Shaw with over 35 years of service. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 2pm until service at 4pm. She is survived by her children, Michelle Nettles Weeks and Keith Nettles. Grandchildren, Kali Nettles, Naya Rogers, Noah Rogers, Victoria Weeks, and Alyssa Nettles Harris. Great grandchildren, Dayton Fruge, Harper Fruge, Cali Robin, Jaxston Robin, Blazzin Robin, and Willow Faith. Niece, Melissa Carver Brouillette. A great nephew, Hunter Carver, and a great niece, Emme Brouilette. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glynn “Sonny” Nettles, mother, Thelma Carver and father, Willie Carver. Nephew, Chris Carver. Ginny was a graduate of St. Francisville High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, puzzles, sewing, and The Lion King. She loved going to Disneyworld and riding It's A Small World.
