In Loving Memory of Joanna Bryson Murdoch Wallace, born to John Bryson Murdoch McKinley and Margaret Farrell McKinley in Greenock, Scotland on August 26, 1952, it is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing. Joanna entered eternal rest on March 23, 2024, surrounded by those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.

Joanna's journey of love and commitment began with her husband Ray Wallace, whom she married on December 31, 1970, in Scotland, during his service in the Navy. Their enduring love spanned decades, marked by unwavering devotion, mutual respect, and profound understanding. Together, they weathered life's storms with grace and steadfast support, laying the foundation upon which their family flourished.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Louann Cox (Larry Cox), Rayann Rossetti (Danny Rossetti- passed), and Heather Wallace, as well as her grandchildren Kendra Pierce (Kelvin Pierce), Nathan Cox (Shelby Cox), Frank Cox (Katie Redding), Dorian Crouch (Tonya Crouch), Savana Nazzarese (Justin Nazzarese), Beau Loyd (Presleigh Loyd), Jaxson Smith (Kiana Smith), Parker Smith and her ten great-grandchildren. Before retiring, Joanna worked for the Joplin School District in various roles.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to be made to Mercy Hospital Cancer Center or Integrity Home Care and Hospice.

As we mourn Joanna's loss, let us also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the love she shared. Though her physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
