<p>~~~~~~~~~~~~</p><p><br></p><p>It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather Eugene (Sonny) Rehberg </p><p>at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in his 89th year. He has joined his beloved wife Faye (nee Herbison) Rehberg who predeceased him on November 24, 2022. Sonny will be missed by his children Greg Rehberg (Elizabeth Whitmore) and Lisa Ladouceur (Kevin Duffy). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Devon (Janelle), Tyler (Lianne), Nicholas (Kassy) and Connor (Chelsea). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Anna Ford (John). Predeceased by his parents Mary and George Rehberg and by his siblings Celina and Marcella Burns. Also missed by his fury friend "Sammie". Sonny and Faye will be watching over their first great granddaughter Wren who was born on Thursday, March 28, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of Sonny's life will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St. E., Brockville in the Reception Centre on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 11 am until 1 pm, followed by a private interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
