Cristopher Glenn ”Cris” Dawson, 57, of Winchester, VA died suddenly on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Cris was born July 11, 1966 in St. Louis, MO., the son of Carl Bruce Dawson and Kathleen “Kay” Manues Dawson. He graduated from John Handley High School in 1985 and attended Radford University. Cris worked as a Design Engineer at Trex Company, Inc. He was a member of the Winchester Elks Lodge. #867.

He is survived by his fiancé, Amber Darr; his mother, Kay Dawson; and his two brothers Jeffry A. Dawson (Laura) and Scott P. Dawson (Kama), all of Winchester.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Dawson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Cris’s name to your local Humane Society.
