Shirley Williams Obituary

Miss Shirley Ann Williams daughter of the late Allen (Cat) and Iola Williams was born July 26, 1953, in Batesburg, South Carolina. She departed her earthly life on the Morning of March 25, 2024 at Lexington Community Hospice House in Lexington South Carolina. She lived to 70 years of age. Shirley education started at Twin City High, and graduate from Batesburg-Leesville High School (BL). She was baptized at an early age at Olive Branch Baptist Church in Batesburg, South Carolina, where she attended for many years. After serving twenty-six years at Union Switch & Signal she retired.

She was known for her loving, kind personality and always smiling.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughter Audrey (Jermaine) Milhouse of Batesburg South Carolina, a grandson Jordan Milhouse, three brothers Allen (Brenda) Williams, Jr. of Irmo South Carolina, Leroy (Loretta) Williams of Lexington South Carolina, Jeffery (Asie-Lee) Williams Sr. of Grovetown, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother Iola and father Allen Williams and two brothers, Jerry Williams, and Johnnie Harmon.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Lexington Community Hospice House.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 30, 2024 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.
