Jennifer Jane Classen of Lenexa, Kansas passed away after a long struggle with cancer on March 24, 2024, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Services will be at Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS on April 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Jennifer was born on June 29, 1974 to Joe and Karen Marlow at Fort Riley, Kansas while her father was serving with the US Army.

Afterwards, Jennifer lived in Germany, Missouri, Maryland, and Virginia before returning to Kansas to graduate from Shawnee Mission North High School. She next entered William Jewell College and upon graduation, Jennifer subsequently received graduate degrees from Baylor University and Rockhurst University. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi at William Jewell College.

Jennifer returned to the Kansas City area following her Baylor studies and worked in various capacities. Highlights of her employment included being a researcher for a law firm, the assistant general counsel for a communications company, and the editorial assistant for a fashion blogger. Jennifer married Kerry Classen on May 19, 2001 in Kansas City, Missouri. Jennifer found her greatest joy in being a wife and partner with her husband, the mother of her two children, and the manager of her household.

Jennifer was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, friend, and colleague. Family and friends will always remember her for her spiritual acumen, intelligence, management and organizational skills. warm smile, hardy laugh, tenderness towards animals, and fondness for coca-colas. Jennifer was an avid football fan. She was a member of Lenexa Baptist Church.

She leaves behind husband Kerry and daughter Caroline of the home; son Nicholas and his wife Chloe of Cleveland, Tennessee; parents Joe and Karen Marlow of Olathe; and brother Jonathan and his wife Carrie of Dearborn, Michigan.
