<p>Warner Robins, GA – Melton Henry Pereski, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at his home with his wife by his side. The visitation will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church followed by funeral mass. Father Fred Nijem and Father Eric Filmer will be officiating. </p><p>Melton was born on November 5, 1931, in Chicago, IL to the late Henry Pereski and the late Anna (Derhak) Pereski. He honorably and proudly served our country for the Navy and the Air Force. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after working in civil service. He served as a member of the Knights of Columbus for 40 years. </p><p>Melton was preceded in death by his brothers, Archie and Wally Pereski.</p><p>Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Faye Kirkland Pereski; children: Mitchell Pereski (Jane) of Houston, TX, Valerie Pereski of Arden, NC, and Vincent Pereski (Sheila) of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren: Benjamin Pereski (ArMiew) of Boston, MA, and Grace McAlexander (David) of Ringgold, GA; great-granddaughter: Hazel Gabriella Pereski; and sister: Joan Pshebnaski.</p><p>With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel &amp; Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.</p>
