Lee R Swazey
<p>Lee Roy Swazey, 68, of Windsor Locks, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024 with his partner and best friend Charlene Anderson by his side. Lee was born August 7, 1955 in Hartford, CT to Leroy Swazey and Della (Storer) Swazey. He attended Windsor Locks High and continued his education to have a long career as a skilled mechanic. Lee was a member of the Teamsters Union over 20 years and ended his career at Collins Aerospace when he retired in 2021. </p><p><br></p><p>Throughout his life he enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing, and snowmobiling. He was a huge NASCAR fan and could often be found at a race track or watching on TV during the weekend with a cold beer. Lee is survived by his long time companion Charlene Anderson of Windsor Locks, mother Della Swazey of Dennisport, MA, sisters; Theresia Swazey of North Carolina, Laureen Swazey of Dennisport, MA, sister Darlene Swazey of Windsor Locks; sons Joseph Swazey of Windsor Locks, and Timothy Swazey and his wife Patty of Archer, FL and their son Miles Swazey of Archer, FL. He was predeceased by his father, Leroy Swazey.</p><p><br></p><p>We are certain that Lee was greeted in heaven by his dad, Leroy, good friend, Jimmy Borys, and his precious dog, Megan.
