<p>Rebecca Lane Leffew, 72 of Chesapeake died March 22, 2024 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. </p><p><br></p><p>She retired from CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston after many years of service in the physical therapy department. She loved gardening, crossword puzzles, cooking shows, thrift stores and spending time with her family. </p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Leffew and parents: Ishmael and Ermyntrude Long Ballard. </p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are daughter: Jessica Lee Leffew Stephenson of Chesapeake, granddaughter: Sydney Rose Stephenson of Charlotte, NC, sisters: Cindy (Roger) Clark of South Charleston, Elizabeth “Libby” Wolfe of Nellis, brothers: Bruce (Rowena) Ballard of Marmet, Richard (Rosemary) Ballard of Cleveland, OH, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and many friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 5:30 p.m. Friday April 5, 2024 at Lens Creek Church of the Nazarene with Rev.
