<p>Jane E. Koenig, 90, the loving wife of the late Frank Koenig, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Montowese Nursing Home. Born in Meriden, CT on August 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Clayton. Jane resided in Meriden, CT, and was employed by Canberra Industries.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane was a parishioner of Holy Angels in Meriden and St. Mary's in Newington. She loved knitting, crocheting, and playing Bingo. Jane enjoyed gardening, watching birds, especially Cardinals. She enjoyed taking walks around the village and socializing with her friends from the community.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane is survived by her daughter, Karen Koenig; her son, Kevin, and his wife, Cindy Koenig; her grandchildren, Timothy Dixon, Alexander Dixon, Jonathan Dixon, Kevin Koenig Jr., Samantha Koenig, Jamie-Lyn Sperzel, and Keith Lequin; and her great-grandchildren, Skylar Koenig, Freyja Koenig, Astrid Dixon, Cristian Roman-Koenig, Jaedyn Koenig, Isabella Koenig, Payton Martin, and Jameson Tomalski. She was predeceased by her father, her sister, Joanne Dunphy, her brother Jim Clayton, and her granddaughter, Kelly Matthews.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane’s family would like to give special thanks to Suzanne Richards. Suzanne was a caregiver of Jane’s, and she always had an incredible time with her, treating Jane like she was her own family.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, March 27th, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 Gypsy Lane, Meriden, CT 06450.
