<p>Sallie Mae Craig, beloved wife, sister, aunt and Nana, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Sallie was born on March 15, 1933 in Washington, DC to the late Joseph E. Miller and Eudora (Milstead) Miller.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Craig, two brothers, Joseph E. Miller Jr. and Robert I. Miller and three sisters, Eileen Griffith, Lois Wilhelm and Isabelle Brooks. She is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Davis of PA and Elnora Spikes of Selbyville, DE and many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Growing up, Sallie and her family made cherished memories at “The Shack”, the family’s weekend getaway on Cobb Island. Sallie worked as a secretary at Capital Electric and was married to her devoted husband, Robert (Bob), for more than 60 years. After retirement, Sallie and Bob moved to Lewes, Delaware, where they met wonderful friends and lived their golden years at the beach. Sallie loved spending time on the boat with Bob, picking crabs, and cooking for family and friends. Sallie loved her family with her whole heart, and was a cherished aunt. She was a member of the Fenwick Island Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Fenwick Island Baptist Church, located at 36806 Lighthouse Road, Selbyville, DE. Service at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the Church Fellowship Hall.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
