Jaime Segarra, 86, of Hummelstown died Friday, March 22, 2024 in UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital.

Jaime was born on May 17,1937 to the late Isidra and Herminio Segarra in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. They came to New York in 1955 and he married Luz Rodriguez on September 20, 1958. They had 4 children; Jaime Jr. and wife Vilma, Jorge and wife Laura, Hector and wife Jodi and Annette and husband Anthony Steele and was surrounded by his 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Jaime is also survived by a brother, Samuel and wife Maxine, Camp Hill. He was preceded in death by; two brothers, Louis and Raphael, one sister, Nellie Borreli and a granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Segarra.

Jaime enjoyed dancing at all family gatherings.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
