Born on January 24, 1930, in the quaint town of Aguada, Puerto Rico, Maria's journey led her to Manchester, Connecticut, where she would spend her final moments surrounded by the love of her family.

Maria, known affectionately to those around her simply as Maria, was the beloved daughter of the late Anastasio and Monzi Luciano. A dedicated mother, Maria is survived by her devoted daughter, Gladys Morse, and her caring son, William Alfonso. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Joel Alfonso, Marita Alfonso, Sarah Miles, Josh Miles, Jennifer LaPlante, and Diana Morse. Maria was also a proud great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren and treasured great-great-grandmother to three great-great-grandchildren. Her unwavering love and guidance have left an indelible mark on each generation.
