<p>Terrance (Terry) Christian Younge, cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday March 20th,2024 . He was 75 years old.</p><p><br></p><p>Born to Elva Mae and Frank Younge, and brother to Sherrie Jane Biernacki.</p><p><br></p><p>Terry’s life was marked by his unwavering devotion to his family. Loving husband of Dianne Olmsted and a devoted father to Blake Younge(Amanda), Miranda Fildey (Brad), Clinton Younge (Sadaf),Lindsay Carter, and Ryan Olmsted.</p><p><br></p><p>Terry found great joy in his role as a grandfather, always doting on his 9 grandchildren, Grace, Ella, Aiva, Harper, Presley, Cooper, Meeya, Abbey (Nick), Tayler (Colton). His eyes sparkled with pride whenever he was reciting their numerous accomplishments. He never missed a special occasion, and you could always count on his melodic rendition of Happy Birthday on the other end of the line.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his immediate family, Terry was a source of guidance and support as a beloved uncle to Jason and Lida Bilotti.</p><p><br></p><p>Terry's pride in his children and grandchildren illuminated every conversation and interaction. His pride was more than just a feeling—it was a reflection of the deep love he had for them.</p><p><br></p><p>Terry’s compassion extended not only to his family and friends but also to his pets. He found such joy in the companionship of his true loves Oreo and Jazzy. We take great comfort in knowing Terry is reunited with his cherished animals.</p><p><br></p><p>Terry was a man of faith, and often shared his love of Christ and the comfort he took knowing he would one day be reunited with his loved ones in Heaven.</p><p><br></p><p>An avid lover of life, Terry was known for his zest for adventure and his warm, welcoming nature. He cherished the camaraderie of his friends, particularly the moments spent with the "boys" at the local coffee shop. Whether casting a line while fishing, feeling the wind rush passed him on his Harley, travelling the world with Clint or simply sharing his colourful stories over a cup of coffee, Terry had a knack for making everyone around him feel special. He had an unparalleled sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.</p><p><br></p><p>Terry’s legacy of love, generosity, faith and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday March 30th, 2024, at P.X Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton Ontario from 2-6pm, with memories shared at 3pm. Family will provide food and non-alcoholic refreshments. Everyone is welcome to join afterward at Ye Old Squire (550 Fennell Ave. E.) for beer and wings. </p><p><br></p><p>May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.</p><p><br></p>
