<p>Willard Glen Callaway, 89, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on March 23, 2024. The son of the late Andrew Willard and Minnie Mabel (Wise) Callaway, Glen was born August 21, 1934 in Camden, Indiana. </p><p>On December 5, 1953 Glen was baptized into the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church in Camden, Indiana. Nearly a year later he married Doris May Shively on November 13, 1954. For sixty-eight years they grew in their faith and family. He loved each and every one of his family deeply, along with his church family and was a friend to many. </p><p>The loving memory of Glen Callaway will be forever cherished by his sons, Stephen (Sylvia) Callaway, North Manchester, David (Pam) Callaway, Silver Lake, Thomas (Miriam) Callaway, Silver Lake, Mark (Caroline) Callaway, Silver Lake, Phillip (Natalie) Callaway, Modesto, California, and Timothy Callaway, Sacramento, California; daughters, Martha (David) Miller, North Manchester, Rebecca (Ronald) Brown, Silver Lake, Sarah (Reuben) Root, Twelve Mile, Rachel (Kent) Flory, Modesto, California, and Ruth Callaway, New Paris; thirty-five grandchildren; seventy-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother-in-law, Dr. Kenneth (Patty) Shively, La Porte; and sisters-in-law, Marie Blocher Baker and Leona Skiles, both of Rossville, Shirley Shively, Indianapolis and Evelyn Shively Sarver, Rossville. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris May Callaway, who passed away December 9, 2022; children, James Callaway, who passed away in 1968 at the age of fifteen months, Rosemary Callaway, who passed away in 1969 at the age of three, and Elizabeth Callaway, who passed away in 1981 at the age of three; brothers, Kenneth Wise Calloway, Robert Dale Calloway, William James Callaway, and Donald Wayne Callaway; and sisters, Genevieve Jean Biggs and Ruth Ann Hipsher. </p><p>Family and friends may call Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 12546 North State Road 13, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be at the Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, 12546 North State Road 13, North Manchester. </p><p>The family of Glen Callaway has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements. </p><p>“And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”- Ephesians 4:32 </p>

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be at the Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, 12546 North State Road 13, North Manchester.
