Judith “Judie” Anne Anderson, age 76, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on March 21st, 2024 after an illness.

Judie was born on July 26th, 1947 at McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage, Mo. to her parents Thurman “John” and Edith (McIntosh) Anderson.

After high school, Judie worked as a scope technician for St. John’s Hospital for over 20 years. Judie loved animals. She was a huge supporter of animal rights and the local humane societies.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Saundra Kaye Boehne.

She is survived by son, Josh Anderson and wife Leia; one sister, Helen Ranz and husband Gil; three grandchildren, Sarah Rearrick, Cameron Anderson and Eva Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Family would love those attending to bring canned dog or cat food to donate to the shelter in her memory. In lieu of flowers, family request that memorial contributions may be made to the Carthage Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
